Your home for the cruise may be compact, but its feels much bigger than you think. I was on the Valiant Lady for a seven-night cruise through the Southeastern Caribbean and my room was super cozy. The queen-size bed was comfy, the bathroom was modern, and there was lots of storage. The best part was definitely the balcony, which was great for watching all the different ports we went too.

Sitting outside with a coffee in the mornings or watching the sunset after a long day really made the room feel even more special.

2. Dining: A Food Adventure.

One of the best things about Virgin Voyages is the food. No buffets here. Instead, you’ll find a food hall with stalls offering things like sushi, tacos and other dishes, all made fresh.

Gunbae was a big hit with the guests because of its Korean BBQ in a party-style setting. Test Kitchen, on the other hand, was perfect for trying out weird and unique dishes. Vegetarians and vegans are also in luck because Razzle Dazzle has you covered without making you feel like your missing out.

For fancier nights, you can also get steak or seafood, and Italian food. With so many choices, there’s no way anyone’s going hungry!

3.Nightlife & Entertainment: Fun for Everyone

Virgin Voyages’ nightlife is something else. The Manor, a two-story nightclub, was the main spot where we danced the night away after the Scarlet Night pool party. There was music, dancing, and lots of people in red outfits. The energy was wild and continued late into the night.

For a more quiet night, the Sip Lounge offers champagne ranging from $9 glasses to $1,000 bottles. No matter if you want to party or relax, there’s something for everyone on this cruise.

4. Activities & Wellness: For Both Relaxation and Fitness .

Virgin Voyages offers more than just fun—it’s also a place to unwind or stay active. The Redemption Spa is a dark, peaceful retreat with mud rooms and quartz beds. It’s decorated in a calming way that’s different from other, more typical spas, making it feel like a truly luxurious experience.

If working out is your thing, there’s plenty of options like yoga, a full gym, spin classes, and even a boxing ring. I liked how I could stay fit while still feeling like I was on vacation, not stuck in some gym.

5. Caribbean Ports of Call: Beautiful Destinations.

The ports we visited were incredible and definitely the highlight of the trip. We stopped at several Caribbean islands that were absolutely breathtaking:

  • British Virgin Islands (Tortola): Long Bay beach was a must-see with it’s turquoise water and soft sand.
  • Bridgetown, Barbados: Carlisle Bay Beach is only 15 minutes from the port, and it’s perfect for anyone on a budget but wanting amazing views and local food.
  • St. Lucia: Known for it’s volcanic hills and lush forest, Pigeon Island Beach was a peaceful spot for some good views and delicious local seafood.
  • Antigua and Barbuda: Dickinson Bay Beach was great for lounging, and the local markets nearby offered some interesting finds.

6. Wi-Fi & Connectivity: Not Always Reliable
